A Strategic Synergy to Complete the Material Recycling Chain<\/strong><\/h4>

Corertex, the Consortium for Textile Reuse and Recycling, continues to grow with the addition of Dife Spa, a leading company in the environmental services sector based in Serravalle Pistoiese. With approximately ninety employees and the management of about 115,000 tons of waste per year, Dife Spa provides effective solutions for recycling, recovery, and reducing environmental impact. This new member brings additional expertise to the consortium, strengthening its extra-regional vision and completing the recycling chain.<\/p>

“Having the opportunity to join the Corertex Consortium is a strategic step for Dife, meeting a series of key needs and objectives identified in our corporate journey,” explains Alessio Tissi, commercial director of Dife Spa. “Our consolidated experience in the management and disposal of textile waste and waste in general has allowed us to accumulate valuable know-how, which we believe can significantly contribute to the Consortium’s mission and objectives. A Focus on Reintroducing Waste into the Production Cycle<\/strong><\/h4>

Dife’s facilities are authorized to treat all types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, aimed at recovery or disposal processes. “Our focus is primarily on reintroducing waste into the production cycle as new secondary raw materials, while ensuring a final destination for non-recoverable fractions,” adds Tissi. “Joining Corertex allows the Consortium to close the circle, positioning us as the link between the initial production of waste and its final treatment. Corertex’s Satisfaction<\/strong><\/h4>

Corertex President Raffaello De Salvo expresses great satisfaction with Dife’s entry into the consortium. “With Dife’s entry, we close a circle of competences that few can boast,” says De Salvo. “The entire circular economy supply chain is now represented in our group, and we are able to handle any request in the field of textile waste management, from logistics to reuse and recycling. Exploiting urban mines by giving new life to textile waste has always been our goal. Pending the new regulations on Epr and End of Waste, we are available to national and European legislators to offer our contribution. The current drafts of the regulations are not satisfactory and, if not reviewed, risk compromising much of the recovery work done so far.”<\/p>
