Corertex
Consortium in Prato
Our Story
Corertex is a young consortium that, however, has its roots in a district historically at the forefront globally, like Prato, for its activities in textile reuse and recycling. The Consortium is comprised of a variety of well-structured companies located throughout the national territory, united by the common goal of raising the industry standard and providing structured and concrete responses to institutions. The circular economy is both our history and our future.
A Growth Process
Corertex was established from the willingness of eight companies, six active in reuse and two in recycling, to join forces to best respond to the green transition promoted by the European Union. The aim is to present stakeholders with a solid and well-organized front of companies that can represent the categories of textile reuse and recycling.
A Sustainable Philosophy
The consortium was established to contribute to achieving the goals of reuse, recycling, and recovery of all textile materials, both pre- and post-consumption, but also to rationalize, organize, guarantee, promote, raise awareness, and incentivize reuse and recycling.
