Furthermore, the Consortium aims to recover used clothes and accessories
Furthermore, the Consortium aims to recover used clothes and accessories, including shoes, bags, belts, textile scraps, and by-products, and to interact with customers and public and private entities. This is also done to promote and improve, from both a regulatory and operational standpoint, the eco-sustainable virtuous cycle of reuse and recycling of used textile materials or unsold items.
To achieve its goals, the Consortium will promote the establishment of brands, patents, and processes aimed at reusing and extending the life of products in general and textiles in particular. This also involves the use of regenerated raw materials, designing eco-compatible fabrics, and similar activities.
The Consortium may also certify, directly or indirectly through identified entities, the compliance of products and companies with the agreed-upon specifications or standards, with a specific brand related to textile reuse and recycling processes.
